With the shift to virtual events, Discover Financial Services sought EX3 Labs’ assistance in engaging candidates with an online recruitment experience that highlighted their unique company culture and continued Discover’s legacy as an innovative, tech-forward company.
Through its Idea Engine™ process, EX3 Labs designed a gamified experience that aligned perfectly with the "Shine Bright" recruitment message. The outcome was an engaging 8-Bit game that provided prospective hires a look into life at Discover through an engaging experience that played into nineties nostalgia.

EX3 and Discover collaborated to seamlessly integrate the Shine Bright 8-Bit game into the recruitment site in just 6 weeks. The highly successful campaign resulted in driving increased engagement and interest in the available opportunities amongst candidates across 7 countries, and more than 50 top universities.
