UCAN is a 149-year-old non-profit committed to healing, educating, and empowering youth in Chicago, and serving over 21,000 children, youth, and families across Illinois. The UCAN leadership team and members of the board turned to EX3 Labs to explore how their company could leverage current and emerging technologies to enhance social services.
EX3 Labs led UCAN through an interactive process that allowed participants to explore how emerging technologies might help the organization enhance and expand their current services to continue meeting the needs of Chicago's most vulnerable citizens.

By the end of the Design Thinking session, UCAN's board, leadership team, and community members had developed 4 ideas, leveraging emerging technology to enhance their service delivery and communication experience as they continue to make a positive impact on the Chicago community.
